John Erick Odongo M’CAyieko is the senior-most non-advocate member of H.M. Mudeizi & Co. Advocates, having been with the firm since its inception in 2005. His tenure and institutional memory make him an indispensable asset to the firm’s daily operations.

As a highly experienced Court Clerk, he heads the department of registry, filing, and records. This critical role ensures the seamless flow and integrity of all legal documentation, both within the firm and with the external judicial and administrative registries.

Core Responsibilities:

• Registry Management: Overseeing all firm records, including client files, legal drafts, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
• Court Filing & Process Service: Managing the timely and accurate filing of documents in all levels of the judicial system, tribunals, and registries.
• Procedural Integrity: Providing crucial operational support and guidance to the legal team on court procedures, registry requirements, and deadlines.
• Team Leadership: Mentoring and guiding the junior support staff, including the Assistant Court Clerk, on best practices for efficient legal administration.
